Sunday 9.30am

Join us on Sundays, at 9:30am for our family service!

Order of Service

  • It’s full of all kinds of people of different ages, ethnic groups, and every stage of life. You’re welcome to sit anywhere when you arrive! There’s space up the back for people with mobility impairments and young families.

  • If you’ve got young children, bring them along! They’re welcome to be part of the service but if you need some space to settle them, we have a quiet room available (with some toys, books and a screen so you can still see what’s happening in Church). We love having kids in Church, so don’t worry about them making a fuss.

  • We sing both hymns and contemporary songs, led by singers, a piano, guitar and bongos. The songs we sing celebrate God and affirm what the Bible says about Him.

  • Part-way through the service, we invite all the kids to come to the front for the “Kid’s Talk”. This is a condensed and interactive version of what they will learn in Kid’s Church. This usually only takes a few minutes, and afterwards, we all sing a “kid’s song”. The kids are then invited to go out to “Kid’s Church” for the remainder of the service.

  • We also have an Easy English Bible study for our ESL (Chinese) friends. They usually leave at the same time as the kids, and have a short Bible study which is translated into Mandarin. The kids and our ESL friends will always join us for the first part of the service and morning tea!

  • We do have a 5 minute break at this point of the service: an opportunity to meet and greet the people around you. It’s a lovely time when our chatter fills the room, and also gives us time to stretch our legs and move around.

  • We don’t take up a collection of money in the 9:30 service, but you will pass an offertory box as you enter Church. The money we collect goes to funding our local church ministries, building maintenance, and importantly, gospel work locally and overseas. If you’re visiting, don’t feel like you need to contribute.

  • The great thing about the 9:30 service is you can usually catch a cuppa, chat and bite to eat after the service! You’re welcome to chat with anyone – and this is also a good time if you’d like to ask questions of the minister or one of the people you saw up the front during the service.
